Land Rover Discovery 1 200TDI Off Roader 12M MOT Sleeper Converted + Spares

Hi there and welcome to the sale of my 1993 land rover discovery 200tdi manual. I have owned this car for over a year now and it has everything that it needed, as seen by the paperwork (ask away for photos of it). The truck does not need anything and is ready to get in and go wherever you need, it is a very capable off roader and a comfortable daily, I have used it for both.

Every day I go to drive this I know it will start and take me to where I need to go. I have done a lot to this, including a sleeper conversion and storage in the boot, I mention this later in the ad. Comes on the original plate, currently has a steel bumper on the front and comes with the bull bar as well as side steps, has the roof rack and spare wheel and bush wires etc, just clearing up if there is any confusion as i know the photos have different bumpers on the front, comes with every bumper and mod you can see in any of the photos.

Cooper discovered STT pro AT off road wheels 285/75/16 with a spare on the roof. Full wade kit for deep water wading. 4 very bright LED lights on front and 1 LED light on the back (wired into fogs). Jerry can holder on rear with a 20L army jerry can. Boost gauge, EGT, wires for a water pump and winch isolator.

Front and back diff guards. (Side steps and a bull bar included). Privacy windows and wind deflector. Metal back door card with drop down table. The engine starts first time every time and runs mint, I recently took it to Cornwall and back and it did not overheat once nor skip a beat, recently the turbo has been reconditioned, along with a full service and all filters being done, a new timing kit was fitted 2k miles ago. The fuel pin has been turned up so it moves well for an old truck and even more so because of the new turbo. Low range and diff locks work as they should, as does everything. Obviously there is a slight oil leak, but not enough to need filling up between servicing, it has certainly never been enough to cause concern. All turbo/radiator pipes have been replaced to proper silicone pipes in the past year as the original pipes were not great for water or off roading. As you can see from the photos in the boot there are loads of spares that come with this. Clutch, flywheel, intake, grill, side steps, bull bar, pulleys, oil pipes, door sills, filters, central locking fobs, and more and more. I will be forgetting half of what is included in the spares, but there is a shed load. Previously mentioned the turbo has been reconditioned, the timing kit has been done, full service, all oils, all filters, new hub and calliper on the rear left, disks and pads, radiator, and probably more. What I have used it for. I brought this with the intention of being an off roader, and I fell in love with it and used it as a daily, and use it as a camper to go on some mini trips around the UK. It has been my commuter, my weekend car and my sleeper (the shelf that you see in the rear folds out twice when the rear seats are down to give nearly 6ft length and 4ft wide of flat to put a mattress down on and sleep on).

I have done a fair few green lanes and I have been to desert Mansfield a couple times. It essentially became my main car, however now I have got another truck for off roading and use a cheap run-around to get good MPG.

The chassis has been welded and the rear body mounts also have, I got the welding done that needed doing early this year and so does not need any doing to it. The condition of this truck rust wise is very good.

I have paperwork for the turbo, servicing, calliper and hub, timing kit, and more. There is a good stack of invoices that comes with this truck, I can get photos of these over if you ask.

Sleeper conversion and EGT, boost etc. I have also added a sleeper conversion and storage in the boot.

When the rear seats are folded flat and the front seats put forward, the extra bits of wood on top of the storage in the boot fold over to make a flat bed. This is great for weekend camping, and on the rear door card there is a fold down table which is metal and great for putting camping cookers on etc. The interior is in great condition and has the nice land rover theme to it, the front seats are also heated. There are no tears in the seats and are in great condition (once the bull bar and side steps are removed anyway). The carpet has been removed for off roading, all door cards are in great condition, if you want any more photos don't hesitate to ask.

As you can see this is a great truck with loads of mods and I would like to see it go to a caring owner, the truck needs for nothing, stands out and is ready to go. The discovery will come on the original plate'K491 DTM', I can remove all of the stickers before viewing as I know these will not be to everyone's taste.
