Land rover discovery 2 td5 manual off road ready
Discovery 2 TD5 GS Manual. I have been accurate in this listing to the best of my knowledge. Viewing can be arranged before the listing ends. Used half a dozen times for light green laning only. Electric fan conversion (switchable from dash).
New power steering pipes painted and greased when radiator replaced (see pics). Cooland expansion pipe from rad top replaced with good quality rubber hose. New 6mm HD front suspension turrets and securing rings. Converted to springs from air (bags and old springs included). New 2 HD lift kit with new shocks.
HD front winch bumper with built in LED driving spots (no winch fitted). HD front and rear wrap around diff guards (rear not fitted as bracket snapped - in boot with replacement bracket). Pneumatic actuated diff lock fitted - activated via switch in dash - works very well. New front prop shaft (From the auto so stronger and fully greasable).
Low and high ratios work. Extended drop links front and rear. Recent rear radius arm bushes (includes the bushes to replace the front). Recent replaced injector loom (uprated version) and rocker cover gasket.
Recent new hi output battery. Recent fuel filter and water sensor unit.
Recent front disks, pads and calipers. New extended braided brake hoses (1 pair fitted 1 pair not but included).5 as new 265/75/R16 STT pro tyres on good alloys. (matching spare in boot - needs carrier swapping around to fit bigger tyre). Recent oil and filters service.
Bluetooth head unit (original CD changer still fitted under seat). Fire extinguisher under passenger seat. Emergency window hammer under drivers seat. Good solid chassis never welded none required- was wax oiled needs a new coat hence a little surface rust. Some bush scratches and scrapes on rear nearside as per pics.
Cat N damage to offside wing (replaced) and front bumper (replaced with winch bumper). Some rust on nearside rear arch - see pics. Patch of rust above windscreen. Hardly used now and was a little smokey on last couple of start ups - fine when warmed up.
Had a small coolant leak from one of the new radiator hoses - a new jubillee clip seems to have stopped it. Side steps have had it. Sunroofs work but frame has been taped up - it seems they leaked from the frame seal- Ideally needs headlining out and resealing properly.Recent Watts linkage but its failing already and needs replacing due to poor bushes. Mileage bulb gone but can be seen. Could do with new track rod ends - new ones included with the car. Rear off side trim missing - see pics. Handbrake light flashes now and again with brake off.
